Wolfpack Ranked 25th In Latest Soccer America Poll

RALEIGH – Thanks to three wins on its schedule last week the NC State women's soccer team has earned a spot back in the latest Soccer America rankings, checking in at No. 25.
The Wolfpack is additionally receiving votes in this week's United Soccer Coaches Poll, sitting at No. 29 with 22.
NC State earned a 5-0 win at Elon on Sept. 4, returned to Raleigh and handed East Carolina its first loss of the season on Sept. 7 with a 2-1 result and closed the week out with a 4-0 win over Davidson on Sunday.
The Pack is off to its best start since 2011 with a 6-1-0 record and holds four shutout wins on the season.
NC State returns to action Friday evening when it hosts No. 5/3 Virginia at Dail Soccer Stadium in its ACC opener. Kickoff is 7 p.m. and the match will be broadcast on the ACC Network Extra.
