Women’s Soccer Ranked In Latest National Polls

RALEIGH - Thanks to a strong 2-0-0 start in regular season play last weekend, the NC State women's soccer team is nationally ranked in this week's United Soccer Coaches (formerly NSCAA) and Top Drawer Soccer polls.
The Wolfpack checks in at No. 25 on United Soccer Coaches and 21st on TDS, and is one of seven squads from the Atlantic Coast Conference to be ranked in both polls.
NC State opened its season on the west coast with a 4-1 win over Oregon on Friday and 1-0 victory on Sunday at Portland, and returns to action Thursday when it hosts Coastal Carolina in its home opener. Kickoff is slated for 7 p.m. and will be broadcast on the ACC Network Extra.
