RALEIGH, N.C. - NC State has two selections on the Athlon Sports 2017 All-America Team announced on Thursday..

Senior Jaylen Samuels was named a first-team selection as an all-purpose back, while classmate Bradley Chubb was a second-team selection on the defensive line.

Samuels was the Pack's leading receiver (55 catches) and third-leading rusher last season. He ranks sixth in school history with 31 touchdowns – 15 receiving and 16 rushing.

Chubb ranked fourth in the FBS in tackles for loss last season. His 22 TFLs in 2016 was the second-best mark in school history, trailing only No. 1 NFL draft pick Mario Williams.

The Wolfpack kicks off its 2017 campaign in the Belk College Kickoff game in Charlotte against South Carolina on September 2. Tickets for that contest, as well as season tickets, are available HERE.
