SOUTH BEND, Ind. – Fueled by impressive play at the top of the lineup, the NC State men's tennis team earned a 4-3 upset victory over No. 43 Notre Dame. NC State moves to 11-10 (2-4 ACC), while Notre Dame falls to 10-7 (2-3 ACC).

Match Recap:
After dropping the doubles point, No. 87 Nick Horton was the first Wolfpack player off the court with a dominant 6-0, 6-1 victory over No. 45 Josh Hagar at No. 1 singles. Horton's win tied the match at 1-1 and was his 18^th of the year and fourth over a ranked player.

A Notre Dame win on court six gave the Fighting Irish a 2-1 lead, forcing the Pack to come back a second time.

Georgiy Malyshev tied the match with a victory at No. 4 singles over Alex Lebedev. Malyshev won 6-2, 6-4 for his 19^th win of the season.

No. 92 Alexis Galarneau locked up a massive result for the Wolfpack, as he defeated Eddy Covalschi 7-6, 7-6 at No. 2 singles to clinch a team-leading 20^th win of the year.

Both Igor Saveljic and Ivan Saveljic were forced to the third set. Notre Dame came back to tie the match with a three-set win on court three.

In the deciding match, Ivan Saveljic dropped Notre Dame's Grayson Broadus, winning 6-2, 4-6, 6-4 to clinch the overall match.

NC State will continue its ACC slate Sunday at 12 p.m., as it travels to Boston College.
