Wolfpack Moves up to #17 in AP Poll

NC State is 7-3 in ACC play with four wins over top-15 opponents

RALEIGH – Off to a 7-3 start in Atlantic Coast Conference play which includes four wins over teams ranked within the national top 15, the NC State women's basketball team (17-6, 7-3 ACC) moved up two spots Monday from 19th to 17th in the February 6 Associated Press poll.

During the past week, NC State won a 72-70 overtime thriller at then-No. 9/7 Louisville on Thursday, Feb. 2, before enjoying its second and final open date on Sunday, Feb. 5. This week, the Wolfpack plays at Georgia Tech Thursday evening (7 p.m. on ACC Network Extra) and hosts Virginia Tech on Sunday afternoon (2 p.m. on ACC Network Extra).
