RALEIGH – The NC State women's basketball team (17-6, 7-3 ACC) will host its 12th annual Play4Kay Game on Sunday, February 19 against Wake Forest. Tip-off is set for 2 p.m. from Kay Yow Court inside Reynolds Coliseum. The contest will be televised live on ESPNU.
Â
NC State's 2017 Play4Kay game will fall within the Feb. 10-20 Play4Kay Week during which schools are encouraged to host their annual cancer awareness games. Throughout the 11 previous games in Raleigh, the NC State community, Wolfpack supporters, and cancer survivors have combined to raise approximately $500,000 in donations to this worthy cause. The game also falls on the exact same date (Feb. 19) as the first NC State Play4Kay Game in 2006.
Â
Fifty percent of all ticket sales will go directly to the Kay Yow Cancer Fund. One hundred percent of all donations made on site—including purchases made at the pregame silent auction—will go directly to the Kay Yow Cancer Fund.
Â
Cancer survivors will be recognized on the court at halftime of the game and are encouraged to sign up. Please email athleticsmarketing@ncsu.edu with your name, preferred email address, and years of survivorship to register for the recognition.
