Dominique Wilson Named College Sports Madness ACC Player of the Week

RALEIGH – Redshirt senior guard Dominique Wilson of the NC State women's basketball team (19-6, 9-3 ACC) was named the College Sports Madness ACC Player of the Week Monday morning.

Wilson scored 42 total points in two ACC wins this week: one in overtime at Georgia Tech on Feb. 9 and one at home against Virginia Tech on Feb. 12. She shot 13-30 (.433) from the field, 4-10 (.400) from distance, and a near perfect 12-13 (.923) from the free throw line. In addition to averaging 21.0 points per game, Wilson dished out 5.5 assists, grabbed 4.0 rebounds, and swiped 3.0 steals per game.
Monday's award is the second for Wilson this season, as she was also named the CSM ACC Player of the Week on January 2.

Wilson and the Wolfpack return to action Thursday evening at Boston College. NC State returns home on Sunday, Feb. 19 to host Wake Forest in the 12th annual Play4Kay game at Reynolds Coliseum.
