Wolfpack Ranked In Three National Polls

RALEIGH - The NC State women's soccer team is listed in the top 25 of three national polls this week, as it ranks 17th in Top Drawer Soccer's Poll, 21st in United Soccer Coaches' and 23 in Soccer America's. The Wolfpack is additionally No. 30 in this week's RPI.
NC State moved up seven spots in TDS's poll and three in the United Soccer Coaches, and broke into the top 25 of Soccer America's this week.
Last week the Pack played eventual champion No. 2 UNC-Chapel Hill in the ACC Championship semifinal, its first appearance since 1995.
The Wolfpack made history on Monday when it was selected to host Arkansas in the NCAA First Round, marking the first time the program has hosted an NCAA Tournament match at Dail Soccer Stadium. The Pack and Razorbacks, who is currently receiving votes for the top 25 of the United Soccer Coaches Poll, will play Saturday at 1 p.m. and the contest will be broadcast on the ACC Network Extra.
