NC State Volleyball to Host Alumni Weekend November 3-5

Wolfpack to welcome back alumnae and recognize the 1987 ACC Championship Team
RALEIGH, N.C. – The NC State volleyball team will host its Alumni Weekend Nov. 3-5, as the Wolfpack takes on the Syracuse Orange Friday, Nov. 3 at 7 p.m. and the Boston College Eagles Sunday, Nov. 5 at 2 p.m. in a pair of Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC) matches.
All alumnae of the program are encouraged to attend the weekend's festivities.
NC State will be celebrating the 30th Anniversary of the 1987 ACC Championship Team, as the squad will be honored on the court at the match against Syracuse.
The '87 Wolfpack compiled a 21-9 overall record, highlighted by a 5-1 mark in conference matches en route to earning the program's first NCAA Tournament appearance.
Alumni Weekend will be held in conjunction with NC State's Homecoming, as the football team will host Clemson Saturday, Nov. 4, at Carter-Finley Stadium. The start time for that contest has not been announced.
This season the 2017 NC State volleyball team is off to its best start in ACC play at 8-0 and one of its best starts overall in program history at 13-6. The Wolfpack has won its last nine matches and 13 of its last 14 contests.
