Softball Travels To Campbell Friday

RALEIGH – The NC State softball team will continue its fall slate Friday when it travels to Campbell for a 10-inning matchup. First pitch is slated for 6 p.m. at the Amanda Littlejohn Stadium.
The Wolfpack owns a 16-2 advantage in its all-time series with the Camels in NCAA competition. The squads met last fall in a 10-inning contest and NC State won 21-2.
In fall competition NC State has captured three wins and one tie, outscoring its opponents 39-11.
2017 Fall Results
@ Duke (10 innings): W, 10-3
East Carolina (DH): Game 1: W, 8-1; Game 2: T, 5-5
Georgia Highland (DH): Game 1: W, 10-2; Game 2: W, 6-0
NC State returns 12 players from last year's roster, including All-ACC Second Team selection Jade Caraway. The coaching staff has additionally brought in six freshmen that were listed as the No. 19 recruiting class by FloSoftball, as well as sophomore transfers Devin Wallace and Angie Rizzi.
