For Second Straight Time, Jack Named Co-ACC Wrestler of the Week

RALEIGH, N.C. - NC State junior Kevin Jack was named Atlantic Coast Conference Co-Wrestler of the Week after brining hom the 141-pound title at the Midlands Championships. Jack has now won the ACC award two straight times, as he was previously honored on December 13.
Jack, an All-America from Danbury, Connecticut, nationally-ranked fifth at 141 pounds, scored a technical fall against Kenan Carter in the Pack's dual match win over Old Dominion, then won five consecutive matches in the Midlands Championship. His win marked only the third individual title for the Wolfpack at the Midlands Championship. At the Midlands, he pinned William Kui of Columbia (2:13), scored a major decision over Kanen Storr of Iowa State (8-0) and downed Christop Carton of Iowa (8-3) before finishing with wins over sixth-ranked Anthony Ashnault of Rutgers (3-2) and third-ranked Matthew Kolodzik of Princeton (1-0) to claim the title.
In winning the title at Midlands, Jack did not give up a single takedown. The wins boosted Jack's record to 20-1 on the season, including a current winning streak of 18 consecutive matches.
