Wolfpack Moves up to #21 in AP Poll

NC State won third straight game in series with No. 12/15 Duke Sunday

RALEIGH – Following a week of 1-1 action in Atlantic Coast Conference play during which the Wolfpack (14-5, 4-2 ACC) narrowly fell on the road at No. 26/24 Syracuse and defeated No. 12/15 Duke, the NC State women's basketball team moved up two spots from No. 23 to No. 21 in the January 16 Associated Press (AP) poll.

Sunday's win was NC State's third over a team ranked within the national top 15 since ACC play began on Dec. 29. The Wolfpack remains one of just two teams in the nation (No. 1/1 UConn) to have beaten either or both Notre Dame and Florida State this season.
