Athletics, Teamwork Online Holds Career Fair At PNC

RALEIGH-Â On September 1, with the beginning of the 2016 Wolfpack football season, NC State Athletics and TeamWork Online hosted the Raleigh Sports & Entertainment Career Fair at PNC Arena. The event was the concept of Carly Venick, General Manager of IMG Learfield Ticket solutions - NC State's outbound sales partner.
 More than 230 job/internship seekers and 14 prominent local sports companies participated in the career fair, which came with a ticket to the night's football season home opener. Applicants had the chance to speak with representatives from various sport industry leaders, including 99.9 The Fan, Charlotte Hornets, Carolina Hurricanes, Durham Bulls and Octagon.

A number of states were represented for the event as many made the trip from Florida, Massachusetts, South Carolina, Pennsylvania, Texas, New Jersey, New York, Virginia, Georgia, Illinois and Tennessee.

The companies and participants, alike, found the event to be a great way to kick off the new school year and football season, topped off by a Wolfpack football victory at Carter-Finley Stadium.
