Overall thoughts on the match…
"Today was another good win over a team with a strong RPI last season," said head coach Linda Hampton-Keith. "We talk a lot about climbing the RPI ladder and right now every win is a small step up the ladder for us, so I'm very proud of this team for stepping up in a morning match the way that they did against a very solid UTA team."
On the team's adjustments after losing the second set…
"After losing set two, we acknowledged that it was on us and our errors. We knew if we focused on the little things the outcome would take care of itself. We also started in a different rotation to give our hitters a different matchup to see if we could get our offense rolling a little better."
On Julia Brown's performance:
"We leaned heavily on Julia today and she responded great. What's really impressive about her performance today was her process. She worked really hard today in transition to give herself the best chance for success and it shows in her results."
