Home Opener Moved to Sunday Evening

RALEIGH – The NC State men's soccer team's 2016 home opener vs. North Florida has been moved from the original date of Monday, Sept. 5 to Sunday, Sept. 4. Kickoff remains at 7 p.m. and the match will still be played at Dail Soccer Stadium.
Both NC State and North Florida had Friday matches postponed or cancelled due to adverse weather conditions. Since both teams are in town and did not play an official match Friday, the move to a Sunday evening kickoff allows North Florida to return home a day earlier than expected.
