Moore Finishes Fourth In 400 IM At U.S. Open

Moore posts third top-five finish of the week
MINNEAPOLIS, Minn.-Â NC State swimming and diving's Hannah Moore clinched her third top-five finish at the 2016 United States Open on Thursday evening, as she took fourth in the overall standings of the 400m individual medley.
Held inside Minnesota's Jean K. Freeman Aquatic Center, the junior posted a personal-best mark of 4:45.01. Earlier in the week she additionally notched career best times in the 800m freestyle and 200m backstroke. She placed second in the 800m free with an 8:28.23 on Tuesday and finished third in the 200m back on Wednesday with a 2:10.14.
She will wrap up competition in Minneapolis Saturday, as she is slated to swim the 200m IM. Prelims will begin at 10 a.m. and finals will commence at 6 p.m. ET.Â
