RALEIGH- Simonas Bilis, Soren Dahl, Ryan Held and Anton Ipsen of the NC State men's swimming and diving team are set to compete at the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro, which is slated to begin Saturday.

Bilis will represent Lithuania, Dahl and Ipsen are natives of Denmark and Held will dawn the colors of the United States. With four swimmers that will represent the program in 2016, this marks the highest number of student-athletes that the Wolfpack has sent to an Olympic Games.

The four wolves will compete in a combined six events throughout the swimming portion of the Olympic Games, as each prelims session will begin at 12 p.m. ET and each evening session will commence at 9 p.m. ET.

For events 400m and longer, including all relay events, the top eight finishers from preliminaries will compete in finals. For events less than 400m, the top 16 swimmers will advance to semifinals, and the top eight from semis will compete in the finals.

The swimming portion of the Olympic Games will run on television from Aug. 6-13 and be broadcast via NBC. On most days, NBC primetime programming will air from 8 p.m. to midnight ET/PT; daytime from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. ET/PT; late night from 12:35 a.m. to 1:35 a.m. ET/PT; and replays from 1:35 a.m. to 4:30 a.m. ET/PT.
