Talk about how your summer has been going.
"My summer has been going very well. I'm in summer session II classes, but I was able to go home for summer session I and spend some time with my family. I was able to get back to Wisconsin as well to see some friends and be there for some family occasions."
Â
How excited are you to play your in the newly renovated Reynolds Coliseum?
"I'm very excited to play in Reynolds. There are several new additions to the gym that will be awesome to hopefully draw in as many fans as possible to generate a great atmosphere for us to play in."
Â
Have you been able to get in the gym this summer?
"In Charlotte, I was able to go and play with Becky [Porter] and Makenzie's [Kuchmaner] former club team. We actually lifted in Becky's garage with her full equipment set and lifting gear. It was pretty interesting, but a lot of fun."
Â
Was there anything in particular that you wanted to work on this summer for the season?
"I wanted to work on my consistency to manage the game better, so that I can make an impact on the court."
Â
What are your goals for the team this year?
"We want to have great team chemistry and be a great team on and off the court. Hopefully, that will help us put it all together to win some matches."
Â
What are your individual goals for your season?
"Being more consistent in what I've worked on this summer and being more of a presence on the court."
Â
Have you had a chance to take any personal trips yet or do you have any planned?
"Traveling to Wisconsin was great and I don't have much else planned outside of that."
