NOTRE DAME, Ind. - Anthony 'Cat' Barber exploded for 29 points in the NC State men's basketball team's regular season finale on Saturday. Notre Dame defeated the Pack 89-75.
Abdul-Malik Abu contributed with 20 points and 12 rebounds, his 14th double-double of the season.Â
Notre Dame's Zach Auguste 24 points and 11 rebounds and Matt Ryan scored 17 points - all coming before halftime.
Big Cat: Barber, the ACC's leading scorer, carved the Notre Dame defense for 12-for-25 shooting. He added six rebounds and three assists. The performance was his ACC-best 20th outing with 20 points or more.
Up Next: The Pack (15-16, 5-13) will be the No. 12 seed in next week's ACC Tournament in Washington, D.C. NC State opens with Wake Forest Tuesday, March 8 at noon.Â
