No. 34 NC States Rolls Past Boston College, 7-0

RALEIGH, N.C. – The No. 34 NC State men's tennis team rolled past Boston College with a dominating 7-0 performance to improve to 14-10 (2-4 ACC). Boston College falls to 3-11 (0-6 ACC). The Pack has now won two straight matches.

The Wolfpack got the day started with its second doubles point in as many contests. NC State's duo of Ivan and Igor Saveljic won the first doubles match 6-1. Nick Horton and Shoti Meparidze partnered for a 6-4 win from the top of the doubles lineup.

In singles play, NC State dominated with straight-set wins on five of the six courts. The Wolfpack's ranked captains were the first to win their singles matches, as No. 77 Horton and No. 85 Thomas Weigel won comfortably. Neither allowed their opponent to win more than one game in each of their sets. Weigel's win is his 19^th of the season.

Igor Saveljic added the clinching point for the Pack with a 6-0, 7-6 (4) win on court three. Chris Mikroavs and Shoti Meparidze added wins on court five and six, respectively to give NC State a 6-0 lead.

Ivan was the only Wolfpacker to go to a third set. The freshman picked up a 6-2, 4-6, 7-6 (5) win.
The dominating performance marks the second-straight match NC State has blanked an opponent with a 7-0 score.
