
Zevnik Shines With 100 Back All-America Performance On Day Three Of NCAAs

NC State sits in 11th of 42 teams in overall standings
Highlights
ATLANTA- The third day of the NCAA Championships for the NC State women's swimming and diving team was highlighted by Alexia Zevnik's first team All-America performance in the 100 backstroke to collect the first top-eight individual event finish of her career.
Of the seven events that were contested on Thursday inside the McAuley Aquatic Center, NC State managed to score points and tab All-America honors in five.
Through 14 events, hosted by Georgia Tech, the Wolfpack has collected 23 All-America honors and three school records, as Zevnik broke her 100 back school record for the second-straight day. As a team NC State sits in 11th place with 95 points out of 42 teams after three days of competition.

Wolfpack Relays
The 200 medley relay team of Ashlyn Koletic, Kayla Brumbaum, Natalie Labonge and Riki Bonnema earned an 11th-place finish with a time of 1:36.92 to collect honorable mention All-America honors.
Individual Medley
Hannah Moore posted a time of 4:08.78 in the 400 individual medley to finish 16th and garner honorable mention All-America honors in the event. This marks her second All-America mention of the week for the sophomore.
Butterfly
In the 100 butterfly Labonge finished 16th in the event standings after touching the wall at 52.81. Including the Pack's 200 medley relay finish she now holds five All-America honors on the championship.
Freestyle
Rachel Muller tabbed her third All-America honor of the meet in the 200 free as she stopped the clock at 1:45.34 to finish 15th and collect honorable mention All-America honors.
Backstroke
Zevnik earned her third national award of the championship in the 100 back, as she finished sixth with a time of 51.31 to collect first team All-America honors. In the prelims session she broke her school record for the second consecutive day as she posted a mark of 51.13.
In the Pack's 400 medley relay on Wednesday she set the mark the first time when she notched a leadoff split time of 51.14.
