Freshman Cheyenne Balzer hits her first collegiate home run
RALEIGH, N.C. – The NC State softball team concluded play in the DoubleTree RDU Challenge with an 8-0 run-rule victory against Delaware State Sunday afternoon at Dail Stadium.
The Wolfpack moves to 12-11 on the season, while the Hornets fall to 7-12. NC State collected its third shutout and third run-rule victory of the year in the contest.
The Pack also defeated Delaware State for the second time in the challenge, as the Wolfpack beat the Hornets, 12-0, on Friday.
