Wilson Named CSM’s ACC Player of the Week

RALEIGH – Redshirt junior guard Dominique Wilson of the NC State women's basketball team (16-6, 7-2 ACC) has been named the College Sports Madness ACC Player of the Week for the week of January 25-31, the organization announced Monday morning.
Wilson continued her streak of incredible basketball this past week, scoring 45 total points in home wins over Virginia (63-52) and UNC-Chapel Hill (78-49). She led all scorers in both games, scoring 24 points on 10-22 shooting in the win over Virginia and 21 points on 7-13 shooting in the 29-point win over UNC-Chapel Hill. Wilson also averaged 3.5 assists and 3.0 steals per game. The Georgia native entered the week as the No. 2 scorer in ACC games this season and has scored 166 points in the last seven games (23.7 per game).
Wilson is the second Wolfpack player to receive CSM ACC Player of the Week honors this season, joining Miah Spencer on December 21.
