TULSA, Okla. – No. 39 Nick Horton of the NC State men's tennis team dropped a first-round match in the ITA All-American Championships main draw to No. 11 Michael Redlicki of Arkansas.
In the tough first-round matchup, Horton fell 6-3, 6-3, marking his first action of the fall season. Horton will move to the consolation draw of 32.
The winner of the consolation draw will advance to the USTA/ITA National Indoor Intercollegiate Championships held at the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center in Flushing, N.Y. in November.
