Women’s Swimming and Diving Jumps To 13th In Latest CSCAA Poll

The team earned five wins in its last time out
RALEIGH- After earning five total wins in its tri and quad meets last weekend, the NC State women's swimming and diving team moved up four spots to No. 13 in the latest CSCAA rankings, as released by the committee Thursday morning.
NC State is the third-highest ranked ACC team in the poll, as Virginia sits at No. 3 and Louisville is No. 10. Additionally, UNC-CH is listed at No. 14 while Virginia Tech and Duke are receiving votes to round out the conference teams in the standings.
The Wolfpack women traveled to Florida for two meets on Jan. 8 and 9 in its last time out. The team first competed in a tri meet with Florida International and Kansas, and earned a 160-126 win over the Panthers and a 161-119 victory over the Jayhawks.
The team proceeded to take down Florida Gulf Coast, Liberty and Central Connecticut State in a quad meet the next day. The Pack earned a 208-88 win over the Flames, defeated the Eagles, 169-139, and triumphed over the Blue Devils, 207-89.
With its strong performance in Florida, the Pack extended its regular season record to 8-1. The women will compete next Jan. 22 when it hosts No. 3 Virginia for its Senior Day meet. The meet is set for a 5 p.m. start.
