Pack in the Polls: Men’s, Women’s Cross Country

Women 18th, Men RV in USTFCCCA poll
RALEIGH, N.C. - The NC State men and women's cross country programs have earned preseason rankings in national, regional and conference polls.
The women's team leads the way, checking in at 18th nationally and fourth in the Southeast region according to USTFCCCA polls. The women were also picked second in the Atlantic Coast Conference preseason coaches' poll.
The men's team is currently receiving in votes in the USTFCCCA national poll and ranked fifth in the Southeast region. The team was also voted to finish third in the ACC Coaches' Preseason Poll.
Both teams will begin the season on Sept. 18 at Wake Med Park in Cary, N.C., as they host the Wolfpack Invitational. The first race is slated to begin at 5:30 p.m.
