Â
When the Wolfpack kicks the season off on Saturday against Troy, fans will notice several new gameday operational initiatives aimed at improving the spectator experience at Carter-Finley Stadium and the surrounding grounds.
Â
Parking Ingress/Egress
To improve traffic flow entering and exiting the parking lots of Carter-Finley Stadium, the lots and parking permits have been color-coded and entry/exit routes have been updated in some cases. Â Please refer to the parking map below or review online at GoPack.com/FBParking for more details (click on map to enlarge):
 Â
Stadium Entry Gates:
In order to expedite entry into Carter-Finley Stadium, we have reconfigured entry gates in some locations. Specifically, we moved our Student Gates from Gate 10 and 11 to Gate 6 providing a more direct route for students to enter the stadium from their parking lot at the State Fairgrounds (Bunn Lot). Additionally, we increased the number of public entry gates with Gates 5 and 11 now available for general public entry. Â Please refer to the stadium map below for more details (click on map to enlarge):
Pedestrian Bridge
A pedestrian bridge has been added over the Gate B access road entrance to allow pedestrian traffic to continue to and from the stadium as vehicles enter and exit the parking lots served by Gate B.
Â
Walk of Champions
The Walk of Champions has returned to the main entrance of the Murphy Center near Gate B. Â From Trinity Road, the team will proceed down the path through Gant Plaza, past the Wolfpack Turf Statue, and through the crowd at the student gate (Gate 6) prior to entering the Murphy Center.
Â
Close-King Indoor Practice Facility
For the first two home games of the season (Sept. 5 vs. Troy/Sept. 12 vs. EKU), the Close-King Indoor Practice Facility will be open for spectators to visit. The facility will open two hours prior to kick, and remain open until 30 minutes to kick. No outside food or drink will be allowed and there are no restrooms available to the public.
Â
Twitter
A new guest services twitter account has been established to assist fans with game day needs. @PackGuestSrvcs will provide fans with information on weather, traffic, gate congestion, and other game day frequently asked questions.
