NC State Volleyball Begins Preparation for 2015 Season

Wolfpack holds first official practice
RALEIGH, N.C. – The NC State women's volleyball team held its first official practice for the 2015 season on Saturday in Carmichael Gym. The 2015 squad is a very young group with only four upperclassmen on the roster.

Now in his sixth season, head coach Bryan Bunn and his staff will be looking to lead the Wolfpack to its third NCAA Tournament appearance.

Kaitlyn Kearney, a member of the 2014 All-ACC Freshman Team, returns to the program for her sophomore season and looks to be a key player for the Pack after leading the squad in points scored, kills and blocks in her first year with the program.

Overall thoughts…
"We looked good and we had really good energy. Obviously, the freshmen are going to be somewhat overwhelmed with all of the information they're getting, but there was a lot of good stuff today.

"Some of the freshman did some nice things, as well as the returners so it was a lot of fun."
