Knudson Powers Red Bulls to PDL Finals

NC State rising sophomore Zach Knudson advanced to the PDL Championship with New York Red Bulls U23 on Friday night, setting up a championship opportunity on Sunday at 5 PM ET.

Knudson has proven vital to New York Red Bulls U23, who defeated Ocala Stampede in one semifinal, clinching a spot in the championship against K-W United.

The Wolfpack midfielder has 12 points in 10 games played, on five goals and two assists for the Red Bulls. Knudson's five goals hold a share of the club lead, and have come on just eight shots.

Knudson supplied an assist in the Bulls 2-1 win over Jersey Express in the conference finals, and scored his fifth goal of the year in a 4-0 pasting of GPS Portland Phoenix in the conference semis.
