Crawford Earns All-America Honors at NCAA Championships

Crawford finished 10th in the 1,500m
EUGENE, Ore. -- Graham Crawford earned his first career All-America honor, as the Wolfpack men's track and field team wrapped up competition at the NCAA Championships.
1,500m:
Crawford finished 10th with a time of 3:56.19, and earned second team All-America honors in the 1,500m. The race was tactical and no competitor broke away from the rest. The race was set up for the final kick, and the entire group crossed the finish line within two seconds of each other.
The Burlington, N.C., native has used strong kicks all season. In the final stretch, he used his speed to pass several of his competitors, and finished with the 7th-fastest final split of 52.68. He was just .33 seconds from a top-eight finish.
He caps off his first trip to the NCAA Championships with his first career All-America honor.

The Wolfpack men's team finishes in 44th place with five points. Both Crawford and Jonathan Addison earned All-America honors for the men's team. The team finishes in a tie for fifth-place out of the competing ACC schools. Addison took fourth in the long jump with a mark of 26'2.75" to secure the Pack's points.
