Lindsay McGetrick Voted To All-ACC Team

GREENSBORO - Lindsay McGetrick has been voted to the All-ACC Women's Golf Team. McGetrick, NC State's leading scorer, was one of 12 players in the league honored.
"Lindsay has worked very hard for this honor," NC State women's golf coach Page Marsh said. "She has been very open to change over the course of her career and she chose to act on things that helped her reach her potential. I am very proud of her courage to change over time. I am also proud of the joy which she has found along this process."
McGetrick heads into NCAA Regional action with a season scoring average of 73.91. She captured a top-10 finish at four different tournaments this spring, highlighted by tying for second at the SunTrust Gator Invitational at Gainesville, Fla., on March 8.
Duke's Leona Maguire was voted as the both the league's player and freshman of the year. Virginia head coach Kim Lewellen was tabbed ACC Women's Golf Coach of the Year.
McGetrick and the Wolfpack will be playing in and hosting the NCAA Women's Golf Raleigh Regional May 7-9 at Lonnie Poole Golf Course. Admission to the tournament is free.
