Taylor Named To WGCA All-Region Team

CORAL SPRINGS, Fla. - Rachael Taylor has been named to the WGCA All-Raleigh Regional Team for her performance at the golf regional May 7-9.
Taylor, a junior from Germany, tied for fifth place and shot even par during the tournament. She fired a career-best 3-under 69 in the first round and an even 72 on the final day. Her performance helped NC State place third at the regional and advance to the NCAA Women's Golf Championship in Bradenton, Fla. It was State's third national finals appearance in four years.
The WGCA All-Region teams are comprise of the top 10 finishers (including ties) at each of the four NCAA golf regionals. In addition to NC State and Raleigh, the other three regional hosts included Notre Dame (South Bend), BYU (St. George) and UT-San Antonio (San Antonio).
