McGetrick Leads Wolfpack At Bryan National Collegiate

GREENSBORO - Lindsay McGetrick tied for 17th overall and the NC State women's golf team placed 12th at the Bryan National Collegiate.
McGetrick (77-74-75--226) recorded her ninth career top-20 finish and was the team's leading player for the fourth straight tournament. Rachael Taylor was right behind her, tying for 31st in the 96 player field. Cecily Overbey (79-76-76--231) tied for 38th and Vivian Tsui (80-79-75--234) tied for 48th. Crystal Huang (86-78-86--250) rounded out the Wolfpack lineup.
NC State finished 12th in the 18-team event, just nine shots out of ninth place. Virginia and Wake Forest tied for the title, with Virginia winning the event in a two-hole playoff. They were followed by Vanderbilt in third and Florida was fourth. Virginia's Briana Mao (70-74-72--216) was the individual medalist.
The Wolfpack will now prepare for its league championship, set for April 17-19 at Sedgefield Country Club in Greensboro.
