Former Wolfpack women's golf standouts Augusta James and Ana Menendez have recently won professional tournaments.
James, who joined the Symetra Futures Tour this winter, won the Chico's Patty Berg Memorial in Fort Myers, Fla., for her first professional win. James carded a 5-under 67 in the final round and birdied five of her first six holes on the back nine to pull away with the win. Her performance included draining a 40-foot birdie putt on the 13th hole.

In just four professional events, James now owns the top spot in the Symetra Futures Tour earnings list. The top 10 players on the earnings list earn a spot on the LPGA Tour.
Menendez, playing on the SunCoast Ladies Series, won a stage of the tour at Remington Golf Club in Kissimmee, Fla. Menendez (71-67-74--212) finished 4-under, highlighted by a score of 30 on the back nine on the second day. In March, Menendez placed fourth in a tournament at Deltona Club in Florida.
