Women's Tennis to Host Boston College, Pittsburgh This Weekend

RALEIGH, N.C.- The NC State women's tennis team will host its final two matches of the season as it welcomes No. 63 Boston College on Friday and Pittsburgh on Saturday.
Friday's match is set for a 2 p.m. start, while Saturday's match is slated for 1 p.m and noted as Senior Day. The matches will be played inside J.W. Isenhour Center or at Dail Outdoor Stadium with weather permitting.
At Saturday's match, seniors Elisha Hande, Nicole Martinez and Sophie Nelson will be recognized for their accomplishments at NC State.

"We've had a tough run of matches and don't expect the matches we have left to get any easier; this conference provides great competition and has a lot of very tough teams within it. I do believe that we had a much better performance against Clemson and I think that if we can replicate that level effort in our matches this weekend that we can see better results.

Last Time Out
NC State dropped its Sunday afternoon matchup to No. 19 Clemson, 7-0, inside J.W. Isenhour Tennis Center.
Live Streaming
The match will feature an online video stream of each court inside the J.W. Isenhour Tennis Center, as well as the Dail Outdoor Stadium with weather permitting. This marks the debut season of live streaming for Pack women's tennis. All of the team's home matches will be streamed online.
Scouting Boston College
The Eagles will travel to Raleigh holding an 11-8 (5-5 ACC) record on the season.
In its last time out BC fell to No. 9 Virginia, 6-1, on the road Wednesday afternoon.
In the latest ITA rankings, Boston College has two listed in the singles polls: No. 87 Jessica Wacnik and No. 115 Asiya Dair.
With six veterans and three newcomers on the squad, Dair holds an 11-2 record in singles matches this season. The duo of Lexi Borr and Wacnik is 13-2 on the season.
Scouting Pittsburgh
The Panthers will visit Clemson before heading to Raleigh on Saturday, holding a 2-12 (0-9 ACC) record on the season.
As a freshman, sophomore Audrey Ann Blakely became the first player to enter the ITA rankings when she was ranked 86th in the singles polls. She finished 14-12 in singles competition and 19-11 in doubles play.
Sophomore Lolade Ogungbesan and freshman Callie Frey lead the team in singles victories this season with seven.
