From the Coach's Perspective
"We're really excited as a team and staff for Brittni and Michaela. For both of them to qualify as individual all-arounders out of a very tough region is impressive. It shows what talented young ladies they are, and we're really proud that they will be representing NC State at the national level.
"With both of them returning as seniors next year they will have the chance to bring their experience back, in hope it can serve as motivation to bring the whole team to nationals next year."- Colleen Johnson, associate head coach
Last Time Out
The team posted a meet score of 195.775 to finish fifth in the overall standings, not counting a fall in all four events.
The team charted top-three season scores on all four events, while Watkins and Woodford finished second and third in the all-around competition to advance to the national championship.
