RALEIGH, N.C.- After facing No. 6 Michigan on the road last weekend, the NC State gymnastics team will continue its road slate as it travels to No. 25 Washington for a Friday night matchup.
The meet will mark the second time the two teams have met this season, as Washington traveled to Raleigh on Jan. 16 for the first matchup of the season.
Competition is slated for a 10 p.m. ET start inside Alaska Airlines Arena.
From the Coach's Perspective
"We're really excited to head out to the University of Washington. They were here in January and provided us with great competition. We feel like we are at a much better place now than we were the last time we faced them, so we are looking forward to seeing how Friday plays out.
"The girls look much sharper and continue to improve with each practice; we have been working on fine tuning the small things to help us continue to move in the right direction. The more that we continue to hit our stride this month and keep our away meet score where they need to be, the more confidence we will have going into postseason competition."- Colleen Johnson, associate head coach
