Six Gymnasts Named to All-EAGL Scholastic Team

BALTIMORE, Md.- Six NC State gymnasts have been named to the All-EAGL Scholastic Team for the 2014 calendar year, as announced by the East Atlantic Gymnastics League this week with the conference championship approaching this weekend.
Seniors Naomi DeVries and Lane Jarred, juniors Aubrey Hine and Courtney Turner, and sophomores Hannah Sobhan and Meghan Quinn represent the Pack on the league's scholastic team.
DeVries and Jarred will graduate with degrees in Textile Technology and Communication, respectively.
Hine and Quinn are Communication majors, while Sobhan will earn a degree in Business Administration and Turner in Nutrition.
In order to be honored as a Scholastic Team member, a gymnast must be active on her school's roster as of January 1st, and must have maintained a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above after the 2014 calendar year GPA is factored in. Freshmen are eligible with Fall 2014 semester grades only.
