Five Wolfpack Gymnasts Named to All-EAGL Teams

BALTIMORE Md.- Five NC State gymnasts were selected to the All-East Atlantic Gymnastics League (EAGL) teams for the 2015 season, as announced by the office this week.
The Pack collected a total of 13 mentions in all four events as well as the all-around competition.
Junior Brittni Watkins led the team with four honors, as she was named to first team on vault (9.855 RQS), bars (9.825), floor (9.865) and all-around (38.975).
Senior Lane Jarred earned selections in the three respective events she has competed in throughout the season. She was named to first team on beam (9.805) and floor (9.830), and second team on vault (9.775).
Junior Michaela Woodford also earned three selections, as she was named to first team on beam (9.805) and all-around (39.120) and second team on floor (9.805).
Sophomore Amanda Fillard was named to second team on vault (9.785) and bars (9.790), while freshman Chelsea Knight was selected to first team on vault with a 9.865 RQS to round out NC State's selections.
First Team All-EAGL on each event and in all-around includes the top-8 ranked gymnasts (including ties) from the 10-week regular season. Second Team All-EAGL on each event and in all-around includes No. 9 - No. 16 ranked gymnasts (including ties) from the regular season.
