Former Pack Star Wins Tournament On Cactus Tour

Brittany Marchand was a three-time All-ACC player at State and recently won a tournament on the Cactus Tour.

SUN CITY, Ariz. - Former Wolfpack standout Brittany Marchand won a tournament on the ladies Cactus Tour in Arizona recently.

Marchand, a 2014 NC State graduate, shot 8-under to with the at Sun City Country Club in Arizona. She improved her score each round, open with rounds of 71 and 69 before firing a 4-under 68 on the final day.

Marchand was a decorated player at NC State. The Canada native finished her illustrious collegiate career as a three-time All-ACC player and a four-time academic All-ACC honoree and was the ACC Women's Golf Scholar-Athlete of the Year in 2014. She was a WGCA honorable mention All-American in 2012 and 2014.
