
Swimming Concludes Competition at Bulldog Last Chance

ATHENS, Ga.- Several athletes from the NC State swimming and diving team competed in the Bulldog Last Chance Invitational Saturday and Sunday, hosted by Georgia inside Gabrielsen Natatorium.
The meet served as an opportunity for swimmers to compete for NCAA qualifying marks as the season nears its end.
Individual Medley
Addisynn Bursch bettered her 'B' cut in the women's 200 individual medley with a time of 1:59.08.
Freestyle Watch
Lauren Poli improved her time in the women's 50 freestyle, touching at 22.38, while Natalie Labonge shaved time off her 100 free mark by swimming a time of 49.12.
Breaststroke
In the women's 100 breaststroke, Kayla Brumbaum posted a 1:00.84, dropping .36 seconds off her seed time to improve her 'B' cut time. In the men's event, Carter posted a 55.32 to earn his 'B' cut on the season.
Back It Up
In the men's 100 backstroke, Jacob Siar notched a NCAA 'B' standard time with a 48.24, while Ryan Wilkinson imrpoved on his seed mark with a 48.91.
Up Next
The men's and women's team will prep for the NCAA Championships on the last two weekends of March. The women's championship will be in Greensboro, N.C., on March 19-21, while the men's championship will be in Iowa City, Iowa, on March 26-28.
