RALEIGH, N.C.- The NC State gymnastics team will travel to Pittsburgh, Pa., to face Eastern Atlantic Gymnastics League (EAGL) foe Pittsburgh Friday evening inside the Fitzgerald Field House.
Competition is slated for a 7 p.m. start and will be broadcast on ESPN3.
From the Coach's Perspective
"We're really looking forward to getting on the road again for another away meet. As we enter February and March the key will be our scores from away meets so that we can put together a strong Regional Qualifying Score (RQS) going into our final months of competition. Our RQS will play a large factor in our ranking and is tied to how we perform on the road.
"In preparing for Pittsburgh, we have worked really hard this week on continuing to stick landings and have good form in our routines to continue to reach where we want to be as a team. Pittsburgh has proven to be good competition for us and they run a very nice meet, so we're looking forward to traveling north and having a good conference rivalry."- Colleen Johnson, associate head coach
