Let the Bowl Begin

CHARLOTTE, N.C. - Christmas is over, but the fun is just getting started for Wolfpack football. After a few days off, the team met in Charlotte on Friday night, arriving at the Westin Hotel just a few blocks from Bank of America Stadium around 6 p.m.
After a team meeting and a visit from Belk Bowl Director Will Webb, the entire travel party headed to Strike City for bowling and dinner. Curfew was a late one for the first night, so some guys hung out at the hotel in the players' lounge, while others headed out to meet friends.
Wake-up call was at 8 a.m. this morning, followed by taping, treatment, breakfast and meetings. The developmental squad (redshirts and scout team players) left earlier than the travel squad and got a lift in before practice, while the travel offense lifted after practice. Â
The team was able to spend the afternoon exploring Charlotte, watching film, swimming in the hotel pool or just hanging out. Tonight, they head to Southpark Mall where they will go on a shopping spree at Belk.
