Mumma Captures Second ACC Diver Of The Week Award In 2015-16 Season

GREENSBORO, N.C.-Â After an undefeated performance over the weekend, senior Rachel Mumma of the NC State women's swimming and diving team was tabbed ACC Female Diver of the Week, as announced by the league office Tuesday.

This marks the fourth honor of her career and second in the 2015-16 season, as she previously won the award after NC State's win over Florida State at home. This also marks the third time this season she has swept the one and three-meter events.Â

For the Wolfpack, this marks the third-straight week NC State has competed and had a student-athlete earn a weekly honor issued by the conference.Â

On Saturday she swept the women's diving events in the Pack's meet against Texas inside Casey Aquatic Center.

Out of a field of eight divers in both events, the Harrisburg, Pa., native posted a season-best score of 325.95 on the one-meter dive and notched a mark of 332.40 in the three-meter competition.Â

The Pack will return to action Thursday, as the team will compete in the Nike Cup Invitational Thursday though Sunday in Chapel Hill, N.C.
