Wolfpack Completes Day One at Wake Forest Invitational

The NC State women's tennis team completed day one of play at the Wake Forest Invitational on Friday

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. – Wolfpack women's tennis is set to begin doubles play at the Wake Forest Invitational Saturday. Four from the Pack competed in singles play on Friday.

Amanda Rebol, Tayla Stenta, Claudia Wiktorin and Taylor Zaytoun began tournament play with singles match-ups in the first round. All fell to their first round opponents and continued play in consolation quarterfinals on Friday afternoon.

Wiktorin earned a 4-6, 7-6 (6-4), 6-0 victory over Nicole Laduca of ECU in the quarterfinal consolation match-up and will continue play in the consolation semifinals Sunday.
