Wrestling Hosts ACC Foe Duke Wednesday Night

RALEIGH, N.C. - The NC State wrestling team returns to action Wednesday night, as the Wolfpack opens ACC competition hosting Duke at 7 p.m. in Reynolds Coliseum. Admission is FREE for all fans, and the match will also be streamed live on GoPack.com All-Access.
The Pack starters will be in action for the first time since a 29-12 home win over Appalachian State on Dec. 18. NC State is currently ranked No. 22 USA Today/NWCA Division I Coached Poll. Three NC State wrestlers are ranked this week by FloWrestling.com: #17 Sam Speno at 141 pounds, #15 Max Rohskopf at 165 pounds, and #3 Nick Gwiazdowski at 285 pounds.
The Blue Devils enter at 4-1 on the year, and feature two ranked grapplers: #19 Marcus Cain at 149 pounds and #5 Conner Hartmann at 197 pounds.
Last year, NC State won at Duke 25-13. Nick Gwiazdowski (285) recorded a pin, while Sam Speno (141) and Brian Hamann (149) each won by decision. Dating back to 1975, NC State has won 37 of the last 40 duals against the Blue Devils.
