RALEIGH, N.C.- The NC State gymnastics team will compete in its second meet of the season as it hosts Washington inside Reynolds Coliseum Friday evening.
The event is slated for a 7 p.m. start and will be broadcast on ESPN3.
This will be the Wolfpack’s first of two matchups with the Huskies, as NC State will travel to Seattle, Wash., on March 6 for its second meeting of the season.
From the Coach’s Perspective
“We’re certainly looking forward to Friday’s meet so that we can improve on our performance from last weekend. Washington is great competition for us to go up against and will be another great test for the team.
“More importantly, we were not pleased with our outcome from last weekend and want to make sure that we come out and hit more routines and fine-tune some of our skills that we had some errors on last weekend. So ultimately our primary goal is to improve upon last weekend and fix those fine details we had issues with against Denver.”- Colleen Johnson, Associate Head Coach
