Wolfpack Opens Strong at ITA All-Americans

TULSA, Okla. – The NC State men’s tennis team captured five victories in six total matches on Saturday, as play began with pre-qualifying at the ITA All-American Championships.
Notables
- Nick Horton, Simon Norenius and Thomas Weigel all played their way into the third round of the pre-qualifying stage and with two more victories on Sunday will earn their way into the qualifying round of singles.
- Shoti Mepardize played his first collegiate match against Miroslav Herzan of Wichita State. Mepardize dropped a hard-fought decision in a decisive third set, 6-3, 6-7 (5), 7-6 (5).
