NC State men's soccer continues to impress in the Premier Development League and across the summer landscape this offseason.
Clement Simonin earned his second mention for the PDL Team of the Week, following up an honor on June 5 with a mention at defender on June 26 for an assist in Sounders U23's win over Lane United.
The Wolfpack's Conor Donovan, Caleb Duvernay, and Travis Wannemuehler took part in the U.S. U-20 Men's National Team training camp on NC State's campus, competing among 24 players named to the Tab Ramos-helmed training camp roster.
Nick Surkamp has provided fireworks for Reading's PDL squad, posting six goals and one assist for the year. Most recently, Surkamp lifted Reading to a 2-1 victory over PDL Mid-Atlantic Division-leading Jersey Express. Surkamp entered in the 61st minute and drew a penalty in the box to set up Ignacio Maganato's game-winning penalty kick.
