Pack Men's Golf Travels to Palmetto Intercollegiate

RALEIGH, N.C. – The NC State men’s golf team returns to action tomorrow, traveling south to Aiken, S.C., to compete in the 2014 Cleveland Golf Palmetto Intercollegiate on Monday and Tuesday.
The two-day tournament will be played at the Palmetto Golf Club. The 6,617-yard course will play a par of 70. Teams will play 36 holes on Monday and wrap up the competition with 18 holes on Tuesday. A total of 18 teams will compete at the tournament, with NC State squaring off against ACC foes Clemson, Maryland, and Virginia, in addition to the other teams in the field.
State competed at this tournament during the spring of 2013, tying for third among 18 teams with a three-round score of 864 (+24).
Following a strong fall season, the Wolfpack has played in one tournament so far this spring.
